Sector 20-BM Energy Resolution.
The V K-edge of a V2O5 powder (powder-on-tape) was measured with end-station entrance slits of 0.6 x 6.0 mm (V x H).
The data was processed by fitting the pre-edge peak to a set of Lorenztian lineshapes. The Ifeffit fitting macro is: attachment:v_edge_fit.iff, and the data file is attachment:V205_20BM.xmu
Fit results gave the following values for Peak 1, the largest pre-edge peak:
